What's the difference?

Is there a difference between senior portraits and class pictures. ABSOLUTELY! Here's why:

Class Pictures tend to be:

  • extremely posed, rigid, and formal
  • very similar between student to student and often rushed
  • well planned photos for the yearbook
  • unnatural and lacking genuine emotion
  • plain

SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER

Senior Portraits are:

  • minimally posed, mostly candid, and carefree
  • 100% customizable per person based on hobbies, interests, style, and even location
  • better suited for wall decor and home albums
  • creative, individualized, and personal

Cheyenne Michelle Photography's Goal:

My goal, as your senior portrait photographer, is to give you a 100% customizable experience. No two people are exactly alike, and neither should your portrait session be. I want to include your interests and hobbies into your session, as well as capture your genuine self. I am able to achieve these goals by gaining information about you through my 'Graduate Questionnaire', which is sent to each of my graduates before their session. I encourage my seniors to bring unique props to their session, these items help make the session more about you.
