One Year Milestone

It's a celebration!

There is something special about your baby turning one. They change so much in the first year, from birth to first birthday. There is no better way to remember how much they've grown, than an all-inclusive cake smash session with Cheyenne Michelle Photography, LLC! They are so much fun and packed with darling images.

What's included?

We will begin by discussing your theme, The options are limitless! At Cheyenne Michelle Photography all the decor needed for your session is included in your investment. Some recent one year milestones I have captured are "100 Acre Woods" and "Holy Cow She's One!". How cute are they?

The smash cake is also included, when booking with Cheyenne Michelle Photography and it will fit the theme of your choice. If you aren't interested in smashing cake or have allergies, check out these cake smash alternatives!

The only item not included in your cake smash session is the outfit. With most littles being in a wide range of sizes, it's difficult to keep each size in each outfit on hand. On the plus side, if the theme of your cake smash matches their first birthday party theme, then they can wear it twice!

What to expect during the session?

To begin, we'll start without the mess. For just a few minutes, your little will sit with the props and we'll get some genuine personality images. Then, we'll let the smashing commence! During your all-inclusive cake smash, I enjoy letting your little one explore and get messy. If you have a kiddo who doesn't prefer the mess, we'll use their favorite snack (goldfish or puffs work great for this) in the back of the cake as an encouragement. We will continue smashing for as long as time allows, or until your kiddo is done, whichever comes first.

After the smashing, a milk/water bath may be added to the session for a small fee. The fun will continue with splashing for about thirty more minutes. Most littles love baths, so this is always a huge hit!
