Jodi + Ethan checked another bucket list location off my list within Turkey Run State Park! I want to thank them both for giving me full creative freedom with their session. The original plan included the burnt orange gown + a different location.

Client Closet Addition:
One week prior to their session, the Ruffle Me Right Up Reclamation gown arrived, and I had spent the entire shipping time imagining sessions with it. As any photographers in my position would agree, the urge to create when new pieces arrive is persistent. I needed to photograph this gown, and I needed to photograph it now. Immediately, got in contact with Jodi where she instantly agreed to model it during their session.

Last Second Location Change:
Photographers, have you ever arrived on site with a plan in mind and on your way to location you see a better spot, so the whole plan changes? Yea, me too, this session is a perfect example. I'd never been to Turkey Run when the water levels where this low, so I'd never really been able to explore the riverbed, but the view from the trailhead showed us that the riverbed was mostly dried up. I only have the Midwest unpredictable weather to thank for the uncommon dry season. The riverbed was stunning and my clients loved the spot.

Do I have any regrets?
I had the opportunity be creative with a new client closet piece and a new space within a location I love exploring. So no, there are no regrets. I 100% recommend the adventure and taking me with you.
