What to Create:

Once you complete your boudoir photo session, what are you supposed to do with your photos? For the majority of clients, boudoir portraits are much more intimate than your average family session. Use this gift giving guide for unique ways to give your boudoir portraits.

Print in a Luxury Album

While not as unique as some of the other options below, an album is a great way to gift most of your gallery at once. Albums can be customized to you or your partners' preferences, making each one different in their own way. Some shy away from this option because 'what about the cover'? The cover can be anything your want it to be! If you want your favorite image as the cover, do it! If not, opt for an inconspicuous image from your session, like the one pictured to the right, or go with a simple leather binding and cover.

Create a Calendar

Use 12 (or more) of your favorite images, to give your partner a new image each month. Yearly calendars are perfect for hanging in a man cave!

Poker Cards

Use your images on the back of a deck of cards. Whether or not you pull them out at the next Game Night, is up to you!

Keepsake Box

Print individual photos and place them in a keepsake box. These boxes can be more decorative and kept on a nightstand table or dresser. Or they can be simple and kept in a secret drawer.

Mobile App

Create a mobile app containing your images. As long as your partner has their phone, they will have access to your boudoir images.

Diamond Block

This is a creative way to display one, or a few, of your favorite images. Perfect for a bedside table for viewing first thing in the morning and right before bed.

Wall Portraits

Print your images on canvases and hang them on the wall. This can be done individually or as a cluster. Either way, you are much braver and more confident than myself.

Car Freshener

If you have a spouse who is particular about the cleanliness or smell of their vehicle, have a car freshener customized with your images.

Mini Key Chain Book

Choose a few of your favorite images and create a custom mini key chain book for your spouse to carry with them.

Surprises are one of my favorite things to plan. I get giddy when thinking about the surprisee's reaction. Gifting your boudoir images can be as extravagant as you like. Here are a few options when trying to decide how to give your gift.

  • Give it to your spouse to view while you freshen up from a busy wedding day.
  • Let your photographer take pictures of your spouse opening them on your wedding day.
